Corona Virus Information

Update 12th May 2020 - ALL U3A ACTIVITIES ARE SUSPENDED for the foreseeable future until further guidelines from Government allow to resume. As and when that is, the committee will communicate with members about decisions made regarding meetings and activities.

If you live on your own and need any help during this difficult time please contact me (Rosie Garner) and I will see what I can do to help.

You may be aware of BINGHAM HELPING HANDS, a group which has been set up by local people to help out those in need of assistance during the Covid-19 situation. Full details and contact numbers are shown on the attached document below, as well as the most recent information on shops that are either open or can deliver goods and market updates. Do share the information to family, friends and neighbours even if you don't need the service yourself as there is lots of useful information on there.

Please be aware though that BHH is a service for Bingham town only - we understand that surrounding villages have similar groups, details of which can be found on Facebook.

Breaking news (not on the leaflets):
  • Village Kitchen takeaway food  is now open and providing a delivery service
  • Zinnia Florist due to open for delivery only
  • Boyes may be opening before 16th May - unconfirmed
Please keep yourself safe but be kind to others.
